This year I’m trying to get more art on our apartment walls, something which I am historically very bad at. When I thought about this blank space above our sink, I knew I wanted some nod to The Bear and I couldn’t be happier with how this turned out :)

If you had told me just two years ago that I’d be getting married in 2023, I would not have believed you. But here we are. A mere 58 days away from our wedding. (😱)

Just two scenes from my room because I was going through old-ish photos (and I’m missing this morning sunlight).

Read Moreacross the country in four days
When one of my oldest & best friends told me she would be moving across the country, I of course volunteered to make the 2900-mile drive with her.
We drove nearly all of I-80 over the course of four days—from San Francisco to Roxbury Township, NJ, where we exited to drive south to our final destination. Read More“[Moments of joy] come when they come. They are always sudden and quick and unrepeatable. The unspeakable joy sometimes of just being alive. We got our Christmas tree the week before Thanksgiving, because why not? Maddie made beautiful ornaments from dried orange slices and a garland made from wine corks (#onbrand) ☺️ I love how cozy the lights make our house feel.
Read Moreheidrun meadery
We had this weekend outing to Point Reyes planned for a Saturday. That morning, we got the best news that turned the whole day into one of celebration—light, relieved, and [for a short time] carefree.
Heidrun Meadery was the most delightful place to spend the afternoon. We sipped meads under olive trees. We snacked on bread and cheese. We talked and laughed, enjoying the setting and the company.
Good for the soul. ✨
