The Crosstown Trail in San Francisco takes you across the city diagonally from the southeast corner at Candlestick Point to the northwest corner at Lands End. Depending on how fast you hike and how many times you stop (don’t skip Mission Blue for coffee in Visitacion Valley!), it takes around 7 hours to complete the whole thing in one go.
It’s a great way to see parts of the city you might not usually have reason to visit, and there is no shortage of amazing views along the way.
